Notes, Activities & Custom Fields: Any notes, activity logs, pipeline data, group configurations, and custom fields you create within the App are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics (Firebase) to help us improve the App's performance and user experience. This data is not personally identifiable.
- Purchase Information: If you make in-app purchases, RevenueCat may collect and process transaction data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To Provide and Maintain the App: Your contacts data is used solely within the App for contact management, group messaging, activity tracking, and relationship management purposes.
- To Improve Our Services: We use aggregated, anonymous usage data to analyze app performance and user behavior to enhance our service.
- For Payment Processing: Purchase information is used to process in-app transactions.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: All contacts data, notes, activities, groups, pipelines, and custom fields are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.
- No Cloud Sync: Contacts Vlix does not sync your data to any cloud service. Your data remains entirely on your device.
- Third-Party Services: Data collected by Google Analytics (Firebase) and RevenueCat is stored on their respective secure servers according to their privacy policies.
5. Permissions
Contacts Vlix requires the following permissions:
- Contacts: To read and write to your device's native contacts database. This is the core functionality of the App.
- SMS/Messaging: To enable the group messaging feature, allowing you to send messages to multiple contacts.
- Notifications: To send you "Stay in Touch" reminders for contacts you've set reminders for.
6. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymous, aggregated data with:
- Google Analytics (Firebase) for app analytics
- RevenueCat for processing in-app purchases
- Ad networks for displaying advertisements
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can manage, edit, or delete any contact data directly from the App or your device's native contacts app.
- You can delete any notes, activities, or custom fields from within the App at any time.
- You can opt out of analytics data collection through your device settings.
- Uninstalling the App removes all App-specific data from your device. Your contacts remain in your phone's native database.
8. Children's Privacy
Our App does not have age restrictions. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
